Mushroom Tomato Roast

Ingredients: sliced button mushrooms fresh or 2-3 tins, tomato ripe-250 gm, one big onion sliced fine, one crushed garlic clove, mustard for sauteing, oil for stir frying; red chilli-dhania powder 2 tsp, salt to taste. NO ADDED WATER; NO GARNISHING, NO SOYA SAUCE PLEASE – THIS IS DESI ISHTYLE MUSHROOM CURRY LOL !

Method: wash the musthrooms and drain and keep separate. take oil in a shallow pan and saute the mustard seeds till they splutter. add sliced onion and crushed garlic and stir fry to golden brown. add sliced tomatoes and stir fry until all the juice comes out; add the sliced mushrooms, chilli powder, dhania powder and salt to taste. keep the pan closed with lid but stir fry every few minutes until cooked.

very tasty and nutritious mushroom-tomato roast is now ready. serve thick and hot as subzi for puri, chappathi, naan, dosa anything.

i still garnished the dish with cut fresh coriander and made it truly desi!
